Actor, screenwriter, film director, theatre director, and novelist ETHAN HAWKE has been nominated for four Oscars and has appeared in over 40 films, including “Dead Poets Society,” “Before Sunrise,” “Before Midnight,” “Reality Bites,” “Gattaca,” “Training Day” and “Boyhood” (Oscar Nomination - 2015). His numerous stage credits as an actor include: “The Coast Of Utopia,” “Henry IV,” “The Winter's Tale,” “The Cherry Orchard,” “Hurlyburly,” “Macbeth,” and “Blood From A Stone” (2011 Obie Award winner); and as a director: “Things We Want,” “A Lie Of The Mind,” and “Clive.” He has written two novels: “The Hottest State” and “Ash Wednesday,” the former of which he adapted and directed for film. Mr. Hawke has also been nominated for a Tony award, Academy Awards for both acting and writing, and a Drama Desk Award for both acting and directing.
An actor alternating among film, television, and theater, RAÚL CASTILLO is most recognizable for his portrayal of the charming “Richie” on the acclaimed HBO series Looking. Castillo has earned a Best Comedic Actor award from the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and received the Lupe Award from the National Association of Latino Independent Producers. In 2015, Variety included him in its coveted “10 Latinos To Watch” list.
Currently, Castillo is filming the pilot for ABC Studios’ The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez and recently completed production on two independent films: Sweets (directed by R.E Rodgers) and Permission with Rebecca Hall (director Brian Crano). Castillo also wrapped production on the Netflix feature film Special Correspondents, written and directed by Ricky Gervais, which will debut worldwide on April 29, 2016.
Also a playwright, Castillo is a proud member of the LAByrinth Theater Company in New York City. He authored the plays Between You, Me and the Lampshade, and Knives and Other Sharp Objects, which premiered in 2009 at the Public Theater.
Ms. Tolan has worked extensively in film, television, and theatre, most recently: “Straight Outta Compton” (Oscar nominee 2015), “This is Where I Leave You,” “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “Flight Of the Concords.” Her numerous theater projects include “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime,” “Betrayal,” “Cinderella,” “A View from the Bridge,” “All My Sons,” and “Avenue Q."
STEVE FARNETH is a ten year veteran at Cinetic Media, overseeing the company's recently opened Los Angeles office and serving as Head of Finance and as a talent manager, reflecting the company's multi-disciplinary approach to representation and finance. Farneth shepherds all aspects of raising and structuring project finance for Cinetic clients, while also focusing on domestic and international sales and corporate strategy work for film funds, producers, and financiers.
